How to play Solo in Elder Scrolls Online
In this section of the website you can find solo builds for all classes, the builds are optimized to enjoy solo content such as overland and also dungeons on both normal or veteran (If you like the challenge). All the builds will have three different gear setups, from the top tier one, to the advanced and to the beginner setup. So you don’t need to worry about having the gear that is hard to get or is locked behind DLC content.
All the classes (Dragonknight, Sorcerer, Nightblade, Templar, Warden, Necromancer) can play solo just fine if you set them up correctly. I will try to explain that in each respective guide, please keep in mind that for solo play healing and defense are always the most important things. Because if you are dead, then you can not push any damage at all and you have to reset the fight! That is why most of the builds have a decent stamina pool so you can block and dodge roll enough and key healing abilities are on the front bar so you always have them ready when you need them.

The 1 Bar Pet Sorcerer and the Werewolf build are designed to help you get through vMaelstrom Arena as they have built in support to accommodate for mistakes on your side, be it whether you forget to heal, dodge roll a heavy attack or weapon swap. The Pet Sorc always has huge shields that you can apply to save yourself and the Werewolf build has super high Health Recovery even if you forget to heal you won’t die immediately.
You can also find a Nightblade Vampire themed build that is optimized for Solo play.
The Gold Farming build is specifically made for high efficiency farming of materials, thus it focuses on speed and stealth.
The Sword and Shield Dragonknight Build is a damage optimized build, this sounds a bit weird but is easily possible due to the Dragonknights skills and passives that the class has. You barely loose any damage but you gain so much more mitigation with this setup.
