How to play Solo in ESO

In this section of the website, you can find the best solo builds for all classes in ESO. The builds are optimized to enjoy solo content such as overland, dungeons (normal/veteran), Maelstrom Arena, and Vateshran Hollows Arena.

All the builds will have three different gear setups, a top-tier setup, an advanced setup, and a beginner setup for new players. That way you don’t need to worry about the gear you might not be able to get yet.

Can All Classes Play Solo in ESO?

All the classes (Dragonknight, Sorcerer, Nightblade, Templar, Warden, Necromancer) can play solo just fine if you set them up correctly. I will try to explain that in each respective guide, please keep in mind that for solo play healing and defense are always the most important things. Because if you are dead, then you can’t push any damage at all and you have to reset the fight.

That is why most of the builds have a decent stamina pool so you can block and dodge roll enough. Key healing abilities are on the front bar so you always have them ready when you need them.

I highly recommend reading the How To Play Solo Guide to understand how classes are set up for solo gameplay. In that guide, we take a look at the most important aspects to make your character work playing alone. You can also check out the Top 5 Solo Classes article if you want to get a good overview.

You can also take a look at the “Can I play ESO solo” article if you want which talks about all the content that you can clear on your own.
