Welcome to the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Characters List.
Like most RPGs, the world of DD2 is a story-rich environment full of all sorts of characters. Some will play an integral role in the story and guide the course of your adventure, while others you may only meet once or speak to in passing.
Let us introduce a few of the more important characters in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 Character List
Here we will list all of the notable characters in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Please note that this information is currently a Work in Progress and will be expanded after the release of Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Ulrika
The young leader of Melve, Ulrika has a strong sense of responsibility and trains diligently to protect her people. When the Arisen was wounded in the Dragon’s attack, she nursed them back to health.
Ulrika’s main goal is to train people to look after themselves.
Nadinia
Nadinia is the leader of Battahl (the Kingdom of the Beastren people) and High Priestess to the Lambent Flame.
She was educated as a royal from an early age and became the head of her nation whilst still young. She has earned the trust of the people of Battahl thanks to her kindness and desire for peace and prosperity in the nation.
Brant
Brant has a reputation as an honest and righteous man and is the captain of the palace guard. He has recently been demoted from the royal court for openly opposing Queen Regent Disa’s actions, and her scheme to install her son Sven to the throne, rather than the true Arisen.
His primary concern is the best interests of Vermund, and therefore he offers his cooperation to the Arisen.
Disa
Queen to the previous King Sovran of Vermund, Disa took the position of Queen-Regent of Vermund, effectively leading the Kingdom’s government after his death. She aims to install her beloved son Sven as the next king. She has the grace and haughtiness of royalty and is cool-headed and disdainful. She has fallen out with Brant, Captain of the Guard, and demoted him from the court due to his belief that the Arisen should be the rightful new King or Queen.
Manella
Menella is a Beastren warrior who leads the guard of the Lambent Flame, protecting the high priestess Nadinia and her acolytes. She is fiercely loyal to Empress Nadinia, who treats her people equally. Following that example, she is concerned about discrimination between races and strives to be more righteous herself.
Wilhelmina
Wilhelmina is the proprietress of the Rose Chateau, an establishment in Vermund’s capital. Her patrons include many influential members of the nobility.
An enigmatic woman, she combines her enchanting charm with intelligence and open-mindedness. She presumably has many connections that can make her a potentially influential and dangerous character.
Sven
Sven is the beloved son of Queen Regent Disa and a candidate to become the next King.
He is unaware of his mother’s conspiracies and is simply concerned with doing what is right. He has a princely elegance, but his boyish sincerity sometimes turns to naïveté.
Glyndwer
The older brother of Doireann, Glyndwer is a young elf with an air of gentleness and timidity that is rare among the usually haughty elves. Glyndwer is interested in the tools humans use and is fluent in human language.
He despairs his lack of skill in archery, which is essential for an elven guard.
Doireann
The sister of Glyndwr, she too hails from the elves’ home in the forest depths. Doireann is a quiet, refined young woman with elegant manners.
Due to her older brother’s influence, she understands a few words of human language and is kind and welcoming to those of other races.
Lennart
Lennart is a fighter maister and a swordsman who has long served the fortress village of Melve. With his exceptional swordsmanship and leadership skills, he has held the fort and protected the land from the Dragon.
Although Lennart is officially retired, his battle skills still show no signs of waning.
Sigurd
A Mystic Spearhand maister, Sigurd hunts dragons for his own personal reasons. He is a quiet man with an inquisitive mind and spends much of his time training to hone his fighting skills and unique style.
He is obsessed with the extermination of dragon-kind and spends his days wandering the world in pursuit of dragons.
Luz
Luz is a Vermundian court Oracle and Trickster maister.
She is currently hiding out of fear for her life, after speaking out against the false Arisen taking the throne.
