The Amulet of Greater Health is a powerful amulet/necklace that considerably increases the survivability of the wearer. There’s no downside to having this item and it will make one of your party members much better at staying alive, so it’s strongly recommended to obtain this amulet when you can. It’s an especially good fit for either builds that tend to be quite squishy, like the Wizard or Sorcerer, or those that tend to be fighting in the thick of melee, such as Fighter or Paladin.
What is the Amulet of Greater Health in BG3
The Amulet of Greater Health is a very rare Amulet that provides the wearer with a couple of strong defensive buffs.
The most notable buff from this item is that it increases the wearer’s Constitution score to 23. If you have managed to already have a score of 23 or higher before equipping the amulet, then there will be no change to your Constitution.
Secondly, the amulet’s wearer gains Advantage on all Constitution Saving Throws. This means that you will roll two dice instead of one for Consitution Saving Throws, and the dice that rolls the highest is automatically chosen. This considerably increases the likelihood that you will roll a high number and succeed these throws.
How to get the Amulet of Greater Health in BG3
The Amulet of Greater Health is found in the House of Hope in Act III.
The easiest way to gain access to the House of Hope is to start the Deal with the Devil quest, which you can pick up by speaking to Mamzell Amira or Korrilla in Sharess’ Caress.
