Introduction

Welcome to the Stamina Templar Build “Jabsmania” for Elder Scrolls Online. Make sure to bookmark the link as I will keep updating the build for each new Update of ESO. The Jabsmania Build is optimized for Trials, Dungeons & Maelstrom Arena.

We are using a Dualwield setup, as it provides the most damage output in dungeons and trials. If you want to play a Two hander setup, you can do that but you will loose a bit of dps.

  • Dualwield & Bow setup
  • Medium Armor
  • High Stamina resource pool
  • good sustain
  • Crazy AoE damage
  • Crazy Single Target damage

Resource Management

We are using heavy attacks in this build on the frontbar, which should be enough to sustain combined with Spears or Bubbles from healers. If you feel like you do not have enough sustain because you might not be a redguard, then you can use 1 Stamina Recovery Glyph or you could use the Dubious camoran Throne Drink to make up for that. In combat you can also use Repentance which should restore quite an amount of Stamina for you, by having that skill slotted you also gain another 10% more Stamina Recovery!

  • Heavy Attacks
  • Dubious Camoran Throne Drink
  • Vampire
  • Stamina Recovery Glyph
  • Redguard Passive (If available)
  • Repentance

Gear

Gear Best in Slot

This setup is pretty difficult to get, because it requires you to have either War Machine weapons with a sharpened/ infused trait and we all know that those are pretty rare. On top of that we utilize Maelstrom Bow which also needs to be in sharpened.

  • Twice Fanged vs Spriggan: In case you do not have access to Twice Fanged Serpent set, you could also run Spriggan, all the armor and weapon pieces can be bought via Guildstore, so it is easier to get, especially the weapons!
  • What pieces? It does not matter how you allocate the pieces, as long as you manage to get 5x Twice Fanged Serpent/Spriggan, 5x Vicious Serpent, 2x Velidreth  with a Maelstrom Bow on the backbar.
  • Infused Weapon? With the new CP we can get quite a lot Penetration through Piercing with only a few points and make up for it on the Weapon. This boosts the Poison Damage enchantment by a lot and reduces the cooldown of it, its worth it! Also it reduces the chance of overpenetrating the target.
  • Vicious ophidian? If you want better sustain, you could use Vicious Serpent set.

  • Not enough sustain? In case you do think you lack sustain, make sure to use 1x Glyph of reduced skillcost on your jewelry. That should be enough to gain enough sustain.

Gear beginner

This setup is dedicated to people that have not had the chance to farm the necessary gear for the maximum damage potential of the Venom build. All the gear here is either craftable or cheap to get in a guildstore. Make sure to ask a friend to craft Hunding’s Rage and Night Mother’s Gaze. Agility jewelry can be obtained in the Guildstores. I do recommend having around 18k health (with buff-food). You can buy cheap Agility jewelry with healthy trait to reach this value.

  • Why a Heavy Chest? This will give you some extra protection, so you will take less damage and when you already have undaunted passive, then you will also gain slightly more health.

Passives

You will need the following passives:
Aedric Spear, Dawns Wrath, Restoring Light, Medium Armor, Heavy Armor (Juggernaut passive), Dualwield, Bow, Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, Undaunted, Alchemy: Medicinal Use

Rotation & Skeleton Parse

We are using a mix of light and heavy attacks for this rotation, we can keep Power of the Light almost a 100% up. If you have the chance, activate Deadly Cloak before you enter the fight. We start on the Backbar with:

Endless Hail > Light Attack > Poison Injection > Light Attack > Caltrops > Light Attack > Weapon Bar Swap

Rearming Trap > Heavy Attack > Power of the Light > Heavy Attack > Rending Slashes > Heavy Attack > Biting Jabs > Light Attack > Deadly Cloak > Light Attack > Power of the Light > Weapon Bar Swap > Restart.

  • What if you need to use Ultimate? Instead of using a Heavy Attack, you can use a Light Attack > Ultimate > Light Attack. So you can replace the Heavy Attack with this combo, to not loose any uptime of any other skills.
  • Not enough sustain? If you do not have enough sustain, you can also use Caltrops every second rotation. That is what I usually do if I get into sustain troubles.
