Zenimax Online Studios just announced their next big Chapter Greymoor with the theme of “Dark Heart of Skyrim”, a new part of Skyrim to explore for The Elder Scrolls Online. We get a complete Vampire rework, a new Trial, a new system called Antiquities with some pretty cool rewards, Harrowstorms which are basically Dolmens for Vampires and another year long story.

Western Skyrim & Story
With the Greymoor Chapter we get to explore the Western Skyrim zone. It will be another year-long story with the theme “Dark Heart of Skyrim. Zenimax Online Studios said that about 40% of the new Western Skyrim map will be undergroud in Blackreach. So the zone might look like it is a bit smaller than previous chapters, but in reality it is slightly bigger due to the massive underground area attached to it.
- Q1 March: Dungeon DLC Harrowstorm

- Q4 November: Story DLC
ZOS both announced the Q1 & Q2 content, the Q1 content will be two new dungeons that we get to explore. The Dungeon DLC is called “Harrowstorm” and will launch in march. It will feature the Icereach Coven and the Unhallowed Grave dungeons. Q2 will be the big Chapter Greymoor, whihc is going to be the big update of this year. It will include a lot of content such as a complete new map to explore, a new trial, new items etc.
Q1 Story teaser: “Terrible monsters, led by a Vampire Lord, rise from the depths of Blackreach, intent on devouring souls to fuel their fiendish plans. As darkness consumes the land, Skyrim needs heroes to restore the light.”
For Q3 and Q4 content we have to wait for more information, all we know so far is that we are getting another Dungeon DLC and a Story DLC, but no further details have been revealed at this time.
New Antiquities System
Antiquities is a new system that will come with the new Greymoor Chapter. It will both be present in the new Chapter and old content (even base game). ZOS said you could compare it to Indiana Jones in some sort of way, where you are hunting treasure over all across Tamriel, recovering lost artifacts and discovering new loot such as housing items, emotes, personalities and new mythic items.
Mythic items will be one piece bonus sets that you can use. You are only allowed to wear one mythic item at a time on your character, so you have to make a choice which one it will be.

Kyne’s Aegis 12-player Trial
Kyne’s Aegis will be the new 12-player Trial that comes with the new Chapter Greymoor. Defend the island bastion of Kyne’s Aegis in a massive 12-player trial and protect the besieged villagers from invading Sea Giants. Battle hordes of monstrous raiders and three challenging bosses in this new PvE group challenge.

Harrowstorm, New World Events
Harrowstorms are new world events that you can complete. They basically function similar to how dolmens work. Supernatural Harrowstorms plague Western Skyrim, draining the life energy of anyone caught within and transforming them into ravenous monsters or mindless zombies.
Vampire Skill-line rework
ZOS said that they are going to rework the whole Vampire Skill-line. The reworked Vampire Skill-line will be more similar to a normal Skill-line with one ultimate, five skills and passives. Because there is such a big focus on Vampires it is important to polish up the Vampire Skill-line.
